Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily milking routines, including preparing cows, operating milking equipment, and cleaning parlors.
- Monitor herd health and identify any signs of illness or injury, reporting observations to senior staff.
- Help with feeding livestock, ensuring proper nutrition and access to fresh water.
- Clean and maintain barns, pens, and other farm facilities to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Participate in general farm duties such as equipment cleaning, minor repairs, and pasture management.
- Learn and adhere to all farm safety protocols and animal welfare standards.
- Assist with calf care, including feeding, cleaning, and health monitoring.
- Operate basic farm machinery and tools under supervision, after receiving appropriate training.
- Maintain accurate records of feed, milk production, and animal treatments as required.
