Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company delivery vehicle, following all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
- Efficiently load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Deliver a high volume of packages to homes and businesses on assigned routes.
- Utilize handheld devices for scanning packages, navigating routes, and recording delivery information.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, representing the company with a positive attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance checks of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to strict delivery deadlines and schedules.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
Required Skills
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
