Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and engage with customers upon entry, offering assistance and product information.
  • Actively listen to customer needs and provide personalized recommendations and solutions.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including merchandising, restocking, and tidying fitting rooms.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, tagging items, and conducting stock counts.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and courteously.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies.
  • Open and close cash registers, ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • A positive, approachable attitude and a desire to help others.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Multilingual abilities (e.g., Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog) are a plus, given Toronto's diversity.
