Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and resolve network-related incidents promptly.
- Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
- Manage and configure network devices, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Perform regular network audits, security assessments, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new systems and services into the existing network architecture.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal users on network connectivity and related issues.
- Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking hardware.
- Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP).
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles, firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, FortiGate), and VPNs.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, CompTIA Network+).
