Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and resolve network-related incidents promptly.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Manage and configure network devices, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Perform regular network audits, security assessments, and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new systems and services into the existing network architecture.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal users on network connectivity and related issues.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking hardware.
  • Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP).
  • In-depth knowledge of network security principles, firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, FortiGate), and VPNs.
  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, CompTIA Network+).
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for network automation.
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
