Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Photographer to join our thriving creative team in Weoley Castle, Birmingham. Your role will encompass everything from dynamic event photography, meticulously documenting the energy and essence of corporate functions, weddings, and community gatherings, to intimate portrait sessions that beautifully reflect individual personalities and connections. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute photography shoots for events, portraits, and studio projects.
- Operate professional DSLR/Mirrorless camera equipment, lighting, and accessories with proficiency.
- Direct subjects and manage scenes to achieve desired aesthetic and narrative outcomes.
- Perform comprehensive post-production, including culling, colour correction, retouching, and final editing using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and creative teams to understand project briefs and deliver against expectations.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure readiness for all assignments.
- Organize, label, and archive digital assets efficiently and securely.
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and software advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain professional conduct at all times.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with professional DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems and a range of lenses.
- Expertise in studio lighting, on-location lighting, and natural light techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant editing software.
- Strong understanding of composition, colour theory, and visual storytelling.

- Ability to travel to various locations for shoots as required, sometimes on short notice.

- Experience with video capture and editing for short-form content.
