Job Description

Hiring.zycto is on the lookout for a dynamic and visionary Social Media Manager – Platforms & Community Growth to spearhead our digital presence from our vibrant office in Glasgow. In this pivotal role, you won’t just be managing our social channels; you’ll be cultivating a thriving online community, amplifying our brand message, and driving meaningful engagement across all key platforms. We believe that social media is more than just broadcasting; it’s about building relationships, fostering dialogue, and creating an impactful narrative that resonates deeply with our target audience, driving brand loyalty and advocacy.

As our Social Media Manager, you will be the architect of our comprehensive social media strategy, translating overarching business objectives into compelling digital campaigns. You’ll take full ownership of our content calendar, from initial ideation and expert creation to meticulous scheduling and robust performance analysis, ensuring every single post is strategic, impeccably on-brand, and meticulously optimized for maximum reach and engagement. This role demands a highly creative mind with an exceptionally keen eye for detail, coupled with a rigorous, data-driven approach to measure success, continuously refine our tactics, and adapt to an ever-evolving digital landscape.

A core and critical part of your mission will be sustained community growth and engagement. You will actively monitor conversations across all platforms, respond promptly and thoughtfully to comments and direct messages, and proactively seek innovative opportunities to engage with our followers, identify and collaborate with relevant influencers, and connect with industry thought leaders. You’ll be responsible for expertly moderating discussions, vigilantly protecting our brand reputation, and masterfully transforming passive followers into active advocates and loyal customers. We’re seeking someone who can not only expertly manage existing platforms but also identify emerging trends and platforms, evaluating their potential to expand our reach and connect with new, diverse demographics.

You will work closely and collaboratively with our wider marketing team, partnering with content creators, graphic designers, and PR specialists to ensure a unified brand voice and consistent messaging across all digital and traditional touchpoints. This includes meticulously planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns, analyzing competitor activity for strategic insights, and providing regular, comprehensive reports on social media performance. If you are deeply passionate about the transformative power of social media to elevate brands, possess strong skills in both strategic planning and flawless execution, and are eager to make a significant and measurable impact within a growing, innovative company, we strongly encourage you to apply.
