Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, both in-person and over the phone, providing accurate and timely information regarding accounts and services.
- Process a variety of banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist clients with opening new accounts, updating existing account information, and setting up online banking services.
- Identify client needs and proactively suggest suitable banking products or services, referring to specialist colleagues when appropriate.
- Resolve client complaints and issues efficiently and courteously, escalating complex matters to senior staff as needed.
- Ensure strict adherence to all banking regulations, compliance procedures, and internal company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all banking products, services, and digital tools.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance overall client satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a financial or retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling transactions.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client needs.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong understanding of, or willingness to learn, banking products and services.
