Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate commercial pizza ovens, ensuring pizzas are cooked to perfection with precise timing and temperature control.
- Efficiently and accurately assemble customer orders, customizing pizzas as requested.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
- Monitor ingredient inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper rotation to minimize waste.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as required, including prep work and cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Handle rush periods with composure and efficiency, maintaining high standards under pressure.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a Pizza Maker or in a similar culinary role.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with dough and various ingredients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with various pizza styles (e.g., Neapolitan, New York-style).
- Food Safe Level 1 certification.
