Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and create innovative menus, daily specials, and seasonal offerings that align with our culinary vision and guest preferences.
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency, quality, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain strict control over inventory, food costs, and waste, implementing efficient ordering and storage practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP, provincial food safety standards).
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service and an exceptional guest experience.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous learning among kitchen staff.
  • Handle special requests and dietary restrictions with professionalism and creativity.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and new techniques to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Exceptional culinary skills with a diverse range of cooking techniques and international cuisines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen operations, staff, and budgets effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
