Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Waiter to join our vibrant team, providing outstanding service in both our elegant restaurant and comfortable lounge areas. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival, presenting menus and daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, providing informed recommendations and answering questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to all service standards and table etiquette.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout service.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with tact and efficiency, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Process payments accurately using our POS system and manage cash handling or card transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and coordinated service.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas, including polishing cutlery, folding napkins, and restocking supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Actively upsell and cross-sell menu items and promotions where appropriate.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant or lounge service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- A positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or a high-volume restaurant.

- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2).
