Key Responsibilities
- Assist Freight Brokers with daily operational tasks, including accurate data entry and meticulous documentation.
- Communicate effectively with carriers to track shipments, confirm delivery schedules, and help resolve minor logistical issues.
- Support the team in identifying, vetting, and building relationships with reliable transportation carriers.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping paperwork, such as bills of lading, proof of delivery, and rate confirmations.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of shipments, client interactions, and carrier information.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Actively learn and efficiently utilize transportation management software (TMS) and other relevant industry tools.
