Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor junior care assistants, providing guidance and support in daily tasks and client interactions.
- Administer medication as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide comprehensive personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, with utmost respect for client dignity.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper techniques and equipment to ensure safety.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record clients' health status, vital signs, and any changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly to the nursing staff.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities, fostering social interaction and mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the healthcare team, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as necessary, following established protocols.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Care Assistant or similar role.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in mentoring junior staff.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
