Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately file, scan, and retrieve patient medical records, both electronic and paper-based.
  • Perform data entry for patient information, ensuring all details are precise and up-to-date.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all patient information in compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., PHIPA, PIPA).
  • Assist healthcare professionals and administrative staff with record requests and inquiries.
  • Organize and maintain medical record storage areas, ensuring systematic arrangement for easy access.
  • Prepare charts for appointments, admissions, and discharges.
  • Regularly audit records for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
