Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming demo submissions, ensuring timely review and response.
- Conduct comprehensive research on emerging artists, music trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Maintain and update artist databases, contact lists, and project tracking systems with accuracy.
- Assist A&R executives with scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and calendar management.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate recording sessions, mixing/mastering schedules, and photo/video shoots.
- Facilitate communication between artists, producers, managers, and label departments.
- Assist with legal and business affairs processes, including contract preparation and documentation.
- Attend live showcases, industry events, and concerts to identify potential talent.
- Provide general administrative support to the A&R department as needed.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in the music industry, preferably in an A&R or creative capacity.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Demonstrated passion for music across various genres and a deep understanding of current music trends.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
