Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on railway track, signaling equipment, and associated infrastructure.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to track systems, points, crossings, and general rail equipment.
- Operate and maintain specialized track maintenance machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company procedures.
- Respond to emergency call-outs for track defects or equipment failures, ensuring rapid resolution to minimize service disruption.
- Record maintenance activities, defects found, and repairs carried out accurately in logs and digital systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, operations staff, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution and operational continuity.
- Participate in continuous training and development to stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of all work performed, contributing to the overall reliability and safety of the rail network.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in railway track maintenance and equipment repair (minimum 2 years).
- Strong understanding of railway infrastructure components and their functions.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
