As a Construction Worker, you will be an integral part of our project teams, working on diverse sites ranging from new commercial developments to essential infrastructure upgrades and residential constructions. You will operate various hand and power tools, assist with site preparation and cleanup, mix and pour concrete, erect scaffolding, and carry out general labor tasks as required. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manual tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, compactors).
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as needed.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up safety barriers, and erecting scaffolding.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
- Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Construction Worker or in a similar role (at least 3 years).
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
