Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Gather and document detailed business requirements from various stakeholders, translating them into clear, comprehensive technical specifications and functional designs.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement new systems or enhance existing ones, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system designs, data flow diagrams, process flows, and user manuals.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for business-critical systems, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and understanding.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in systems analysis and design.
- Contribute to project planning, scope definition, and risk management activities.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in creating flowcharts, wireframes, use cases, and other system design documentation.
- Experience with database concepts and SQL for data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with specific enterprise resource planning (ERP) or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Proficiency in data modeling and advanced SQL queries.
