Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories using various techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys).
- Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for development teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired states and propose effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, use cases, data models, and system diagrams.
- Support the quality assurance process by assisting in test case creation and reviewing test results.
- Conduct research and analysis of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to provide informed recommendations.
- Assist in project planning, scope definition, and risk management activities.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and functionalities.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques (e.g., elicitation, analysis, documentation).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex information clearly.
- Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
