Key Responsibilities
- Assist with incoming IT support tickets and service requests, providing timely and professional assistance to internal users.
- Help with the setup, installation, and configuration of hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals) and software applications.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN) and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and procedural manuals.
- Support IT asset management by tracking inventory, deployment, and decommissioning of equipment.
- Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, software rollouts, and infrastructure improvements.
- Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.
- Learn and apply cybersecurity best practices in day-to-day operations.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a degree or diploma program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows and/or macOS) and common desktop applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
