Job Description

Hiring.zycto invites an exceptional and visionary Music Producer to join our growing creative team in Didsbury, Manchester. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual passionate about crafting immersive sonic landscapes and driving musical innovation. As a Music Producer with us, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, arranging, recording, mixing, and mastering original music across diverse genres for various projects, including commercial releases, multimedia content, and bespoke artist collaborations. We are seeking someone with a profound understanding of music theory, composition, and contemporary production techniques, coupled with an innate ability to inspire and guide artists to realize their full potential. You will work within state-of-the-art studio facilities, contributing to a diverse portfolio that challenges conventional music production boundaries. Your role will involve close collaboration with artists, sound engineers, and A&R teams, ensuring every project not only meets but exceeds artistic and technical benchmarks. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead music production projects from conceptualization to final delivery, ensuring artistic vision and technical quality.
  • Arrange, compose, record, mix, and master tracks to professional standards across various musical genres.
  • Collaborate closely with artists to develop their sound, provide creative direction, and optimize vocal and instrumental performances.
  • Operate and maintain professional studio equipment, including DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live), microphones, and outboard gear.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and emerging production techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior producers or sound engineers as required.
  • Engage in sound design and Foley work for specific project needs.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Music Producer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
  • Expertise in digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or Ableton Live.
  • Comprehensive understanding of music theory, composition, arrangement, and orchestration.
  • Advanced skills in audio mixing, mastering, and sound engineering.
  • Proficiency with various synthesizers, samplers, and virtual instruments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with artists and teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire creativity and bring out the best in artists.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Production, Audio Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Dolby Atmos or other immersive audio formats.
  • Knowledge of music business, licensing, and intellectual property rights.
  • A network within the UK music industry.
