Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to manage our front desk operations exclusively on weekends. This is a vital part-time role for someone who excels in customer service, enjoys creating a positive first impression, and thrives in a dynamic office environment. As our Weekend Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our organization, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for all visitors, clients, and callers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the professional atmosphere of our New York office, handling inquiries with grace and efficiency, and providing essential administrative support during weekend business hours. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, deliveries, and couriers.
  • Maintain office security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
  • Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments as required.
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials.
  • Assist with other clerical receptionist duties such as preparing communications and maintaining office supply inventory.
  • Handle client and visitor inquiries promptly and professionally.

Required Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role (minimum 1 year).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers, multi-line phones).
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Customer service-oriented approach.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
