Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Professional to join our dynamic team in the Griffintown, Montreal region. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a profound scientific background and exceptional communication skills to serve as a vital link between our organization and the medical community. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building strong, credible relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and researchers, fostering a deep understanding of our therapeutic areas and investigational products.

As an MSL Professional, you will be responsible for providing accurate, balanced, and evidence-based scientific information to external stakeholders, responding to unsolicited medical information requests, and identifying emerging scientific trends and unmet medical needs. You will play a critical role in supporting clinical development activities, including identifying potential investigators for clinical trials and facilitating investigator-initiated research. This position requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex scientific data into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for diverse audiences. This role demands a high degree of autonomy, requiring excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a demanding schedule that includes extensive field travel. You will work cross-functionally with various internal departments, including Medical Affairs, Research & Development, and Commercial teams, ensuring alignment on strategic initiatives and scientific communication goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain credible, professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare professionals within assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Deliver balanced, accurate, and evidence-based scientific information to external stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests.
  • Identify, develop, and execute scientific projects and educational programs in collaboration with KOLs.
  • Gather and interpret insights from the field to inform medical and commercial strategies.
  • Participate in and represent Hiring.zycto at scientific congresses, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
  • Support clinical trial activities by identifying potential investigators and facilitating appropriate research collaborations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of relevant disease states, competitor products, and treatment landscapes.
  • Adhere to all corporate compliance policies and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Doctoral degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to critically evaluate scientific literature and translate complex information.
  • Proven project management and organizational abilities.
  • Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the therapeutic areas of oncology, immunology, or rare diseases.
  • Previous experience working within the Canadian healthcare system.
  • Track record of scientific publications or presentations.
  • Familiarity with digital engagement platforms and virtual communication tools.
