Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of corporate and private events, from initial brief to post-event evaluation.
- Develop detailed event proposals, including timelines, budgets, venue selection, and vendor recommendations.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage a diverse range of suppliers and vendors (e.g., caterers, decorators, AV specialists, entertainment).
- Prepare comprehensive event schedules, run sheets, and contingency plans to ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects, including guest registration, transportation, accommodation, and on-site management.
- Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to ensure venues meet event requirements and standards.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, providing on-site leadership and problem-solving.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Perform post-event analysis, gather feedback, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in event planning, coordination, or management.
- Demonstrable experience with both corporate and private events.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
