Key Responsibilities
- Manage the church office, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for congregants, visitors, and external inquiries, via phone, email, and in-person.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the pastoral team and other church staff.
- Prepare and distribute weekly service bulletins, newsletters, announcements, and other communications.
- Maintain accurate and confidential church records, including membership databases and contact information.
- Manage church calendars, scheduling meetings, events, and facility bookings.
- Assist with planning, coordination, and logistics for church events, programs, and outreach initiatives.
- Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, and manage email correspondence.
- Support basic financial tasks such as managing petty cash, processing donations, and assisting with record-keeping.
- Facilitate volunteer coordination and provide administrative support to various ministries.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role (minimum 3 years).
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
