Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels using WMS, conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies.
- Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Optimize dispatch schedules and routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices, safety regulations, and new procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, transport) to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance and inventory status.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role (4+ years).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
