Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing team in Sheffield. This pivotal role will be instrumental in executing and optimising our clients’ digital marketing strategies, with a strong emphasis on SEO, PPC, and overall growth initiatives. As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for driving online visibility, increasing traffic, and generating qualified leads through various digital channels. You’ll work closely with our wider marketing and sales teams, contributing to strategy development, campaign execution, and performance analysis.
Your day-to-day will involve hands-on management of search engine optimisation efforts, from keyword research and on-page optimisation to technical SEO audits and link-building strategies. Concurrently, you will manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and social media channels, ensuring maximum ROI and adherence to budget. Beyond just execution, we expect you to be a proactive force in identifying new growth opportunities, staying ahead of industry trends, and continuously refining our approach based on performance data and market insights. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and technical SEO audits.
- Manage and optimise PPC campaigns across Google Ads and other relevant platforms, including budget management, bid strategies, and ad copy creation.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO and PPC performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Identify and implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO-friendly content development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO, PPC, and digital marketing trends and algorithm changes.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve campaign performance.
- Contribute to the overall digital growth strategy, exploring new channels and tactics.
- Assist in the creation of monthly performance reports for clients, highlighting key achievements and future plans.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in managing and optimising SEO campaigns.
- Demonstrable experience with Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping) and other PPC platforms.
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO/PPC tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Solid knowledge of current SEO best practices, including technical SEO, on-page, and off-page optimisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
