Key Responsibilities
- Assist producers and directors with pre-production tasks, including research, scheduling, location scouting support, and talent coordination.
- Support on-set operations, including setting up and breaking down equipment, managing props, and ensuring a tidy and safe working environment.
- Handle and organize production assets, including footage, audio files, and graphic elements, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Provide administrative support, such as managing calendars, coordinating meetings, preparing documents, and processing invoices.
- Assist with basic editing tasks, media ingestion, and file conversions under the guidance of post-production specialists.
- Facilitate communication between various departments, ensuring information flows efficiently and deadlines are met.
- Run errands and perform various ad-hoc duties to support the production team as needed.
- Maintain and inventory production equipment, ensuring all gear is in good working order and ready for use.
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with basic camera operation, lighting, or sound recording principles.
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus.
- Prior experience in a production environment, even through internships, volunteer work, or student projects.
- Knowledge of local Vancouver filming locations and logistics.
