Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including cash, card, and mobile payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and politely.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and tidy checkout area, ensuring stock is neatly presented and easily accessible.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints in line with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with stock rotation, merchandising, and shelf replenishment as required.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
- Accurately count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Promote loyalty programs, special offers, and store services to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive working environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within retail, hospitality, or a supermarket setting.
- Proficiency in operating Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and handling various payment methods.
