Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of equipment maintenance technicians.
- Develop, implement, and oversee preventative maintenance programs for all equipment.
- Manage and prioritize equipment repair schedules to minimize downtime and optimize operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment service history, repairs, and inspections.
- Oversee equipment inventory, parts procurement, and asset tracking systems.
- Manage the equipment maintenance budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors for parts, services, and new equipment acquisitions.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and performance assessments to ensure peak operational efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for equipment maintenance processes and procedures.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of progressive experience in equipment management or fleet maintenance.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities with a track record of motivating technicians.
- Strong technical knowledge of various types of industrial equipment and machinery.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting related to equipment assets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Valid G-class driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Relevant trade certification (e.g., Heavy Equipment Technician, Industrial Mechanic).

- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
