Key Responsibilities
- Execute a wide range of complex stunts, including falls, fights, driving, acrobatics, and wire work, with precision and safety.
- Collaborate with stunt coordinators, directors, and other crew members to conceptualize, choreograph, and rehearse stunt sequences.
- Develop and maintain a high level of physical fitness, agility, and specialized stunt skills.
- Participate in pre-production meetings to discuss stunt requirements, safety protocols, and logistical planning.
- Rig and de-rig equipment safely, ensuring all gear meets industry standards and production requirements.
- Adapt quickly to on-set changes and work effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide creative input and problem-solving skills to enhance stunt designs and overall action sequences.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, union regulations, and company policies.
- Mentor and support junior stunt performers when applicable, fostering a collaborative and safe working environment.
Required Skills
- Extensive professional experience as a Stunt Performer in film, television, or live productions.
- Mastery of multiple stunt disciplines (e.g., martial arts, gymnastics, high falls, precision driving).
- Exceptional physical conditioning, flexibility, and coordination.
- Comprehensive understanding and strict adherence to industry-standard safety protocols.
- Ability to interpret fight choreography and stunt sequences accurately and safely.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, comfortable working in high-pressure environments.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
- Professional stunt certifications and union membership (e.g., ACTRA, SAG-AFTRA where applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized skills such as fire stunts, underwater stunts, equestrian stunts, or advanced aerial work.
- Experience with motion capture and green screen performances.
- Background in professional athletics, dance, or theatrical combat.
- Knowledge of rigging, harness systems, and specialized stunt equipment.
