Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking empathetic and dedicated Care Assistants to provide exceptional elderly and disability support within the St Fagans area of Cardiff. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always maintaining dignity and privacy.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Administer medication according to prescribed instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met, and encourage adequate hydration.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
- Assist with light household duties, such as tidying, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Escort clients to appointments, social outings, or errands as required.
- Accurately complete care plans, daily logs, and report any changes in condition or concerns to the care coordinator.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, company policies, and CQC guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with family members, healthcare professionals, and the wider care team to ensure holistic support.

Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working with elderly individuals or people with disabilities.
- Full UK Driving License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Experience with manual handling and first aid.
- Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults.
