Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic public relations plans and campaigns aligned with company goals.
  • Manage media relations, including proactive pitching, responding to inquiries, and cultivating strong relationships with journalists and influencers.
  • Draft and edit compelling press releases, media advisories, speeches, articles, and other PR materials.
  • Oversee crisis communication and reputation management efforts, acting as a key spokesperson when required.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on PR campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Coordinate and manage interviews, press conferences, and other media events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and executive teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities in public relations to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Manage PR budgets, agencies, and external vendors effectively.
  • Provide media training and guidance to internal spokespersons.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in public relations, preferably in an agency or corporate setting.
  • Proven track record of successful media placements and campaign execution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with media contacts.
  • Experience with PR software and media monitoring tools.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) or other professional certifications.

  • Familiarity with digital PR strategies, including SEO and social media integration.
