Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, setting a positive tone for their dining experience.
- Efficiently manage restaurant reservations and walk-in guests, utilizing our reservation system to optimize seating and flow.
- Escort guests to their tables with politeness and professionalism, providing menus and assisting with initial seating.
- Maintain accurate waitlists and clearly communicate estimated wait times to guests, ensuring transparency and comfort.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance area, and dining room.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide accurate information about the restaurant.
- Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively address any potential issues or concerns, escalating when necessary.
- Support other front-of-house duties as required, including light cleaning, setting tables, or restocking supplies.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor consistently, even during peak hours and under pressure.
