Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual and physical inspections of incoming and outgoing products for quality, damage, and accuracy.
- Verify product specifications against order sheets, packing lists, and company standards.
- Accurately record and document all inspection results, including discrepancies, damages, or non-conformances.
- Isolate and tag defective or non-compliant products, ensuring they are not shipped or processed further.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack) safely and efficiently.
- Provide feedback on recurring quality issues to assist in process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven strong attention to detail and observational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to read and understand product specifications and work instructions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
