No prior experience is required – we are looking for dedicated individuals with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a desire to learn. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled demolition workers and supervisors with various tasks on active construction sites.
- Perform general site cleanup, including sweeping, debris removal, and organizing materials.
- Safely operate hand tools and basic power tools under supervision (e.g., shovels, brooms, pry bars, hammers).
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols, regulations, and instructions provided by site supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe environment.
- Participate in daily safety briefings and contribute to a safety-conscious culture.
- Handle and dispose of construction waste and hazardous materials according to guidelines.
- Support the team in preparing sites for demolition, including setting up safety barriers and signage.
- Learn and apply new construction and demolition techniques as instructed.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong commitment to safety regulations and practices.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record (asset, not required).
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment (e.g., how to safely use a hammer, wrench, etc.).
- Previous experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., landscaping, moving, warehouse) is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Interest in a long-term career in the construction industry.
