Key Responsibilities
- Set up banquet tables, chairs, and event spaces according to floor plans and client specifications.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally to guests during events.
- Anticipate and respond to guests' needs and requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Clear tables and assist with breakdown and cleanup of event spaces after functions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of serving areas, back-of-house, and event rooms.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, event coordination, and other service staff to ensure seamless event execution.
- Assist with the replenishment of buffets, beverage stations, and other service points as needed.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with professionalism, escalating as necessary.
- Ensure a positive and memorable experience for all guests attending our events.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules.

- Basic understanding of food and beverage service principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) as a Banquet Server, Waitstaff, or in a similar hospitality role.
- Smart Serve certification (Ontario) or willingness to obtain it immediately upon hire.
- Knowledge of different serving styles (e.g., plated, buffet, family-style).
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
