Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and departure, offering exceptional customer service.
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles, prioritizing speed and security.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle keys and their corresponding locations.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or other belongings.
- Provide accurate directions and local area information to guests as requested.
- Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage upon arrival and report any new incidents.
- Ensure the valet station and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and presentable.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, parking regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor service issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Operate various types of vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, expertly and responsibly.
Required Skills
- Valid G-class Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving abstract (MVR).
- Minimum of 6 months of professional driving experience.
- Exceptional vehicle handling skills, including proficiency with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Professional appearance and a positive, engaging demeanor.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, run, and lift moderate weight for extended periods.
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Availability to work flexible part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a valet attendant in a luxury hotel, restaurant, or private club.
- Familiarity with the Deer Park and greater Toronto area road network.
- Experience in the hospitality or high-end service industry.
- Ability to converse in multiple languages is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
