Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabric items according to established procedures.
- Safely and efficiently operate commercial laundry machinery, including washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, quality, and damage, promptly reporting any issues to supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry room environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor laundry supply levels, report inventory needs, and assist with stock rotation.
- Load and unload laundry carts and move linen throughout the facility as required.
- Adhere strictly to all hygiene standards and proper handling procedures for various fabric types.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
