As a Landscaping Crew Member, you’ll be an integral part of our team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing various green spaces, commercial properties, and residential gardens throughout Toronto. This seasonal role is perfect for students, individuals looking for summer work, or anyone passionate about nature and outdoor work. We believe in providing comprehensive training and fostering a supportive atmosphere where new hires can quickly develop essential skills. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general groundskeeping and landscape maintenance duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plant material according to design specifications.
- Assist with the installation of new landscape features, such as mulch, soil, and small hardscape elements.
- Operate various landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers) after training.
- Ensure properties are clean and free of debris; rake leaves and clear walkways.
- Water plants and garden areas as required to maintain their health and vitality.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines on job sites.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on site.
