Hiring.zycto is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Warehouse Shipping Clerk to join our vibrant team located near the Art Gallery of Ontario in downtown Toronto. As a Warehouse Shipping Clerk, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of outgoing shipments. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and loading goods.
- Verify the accuracy of shipping documentation against physical shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (training provided).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipment status and issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Unload incoming materials and check their quantities and condition.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy (data entry, email).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment (even non-shipping related) is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is an asset, but training will be provided.
