Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary communication link between the kitchen staff and the serving team, relaying critical information clearly and promptly.
- Organize and plate dishes efficiently on the pass, ensuring all elements of the order are present and correct before delivery to the guest.
- Perform final quality checks on all outgoing food orders for accuracy, presentation, temperature, and portion size.
- Maintain a clean and organized expediting station, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate any delays or issues from the kitchen to the serving staff and management proactively.
- Assist in packaging take-out orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining presentation standards.
- Learn and adhere to all restaurant standards for food quality, hygiene, and customer service.
- Support kitchen staff and servers as needed during peak service hours to maintain operational flow.
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously in a high-pressure environment without compromising quality.
