Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a structured training program covering quality control principles, inspection techniques, and company-specific procedures.
- Learn to perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products according to established specifications and standards.
- Assist senior inspectors in identifying and documenting non-conforming materials or products, including initial data collection and reporting.
- Familiarize yourself with and accurately utilize various measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators, under supervision.
- Maintain meticulous records of inspection results, data, and corrective actions in physical and digital formats.
- Collaborate effectively with production, engineering, and other departments to understand quality requirements and address issues.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies while working in the manufacturing facility.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient inspection area.
- Proactively seek feedback and opportunities for continuous learning and skill development.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for discrepancies.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or instructions (training provided).
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow detailed procedures.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
