Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated Order Processing Clerk to join our team in Sunnyside Park, Toronto. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems, ensuring all details align with client specifications.
- Verify order information for completeness and accuracy, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Liaise with warehouse staff and management to clarify order details or address processing issues.
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for outbound shipments.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of all processed orders and related paperwork.
- Assist with inventory data entry, reconciliation, and cycle counts as needed during slower periods.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with other departments (e.g., shipping, inventory) to ensure smooth order flow and problem resolution.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data entry or order processing, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numerical and textual data.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office Suite, especially Excel) and experience with inventory or order management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, sometimes repetitive, environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to commit to a consistent night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Basic problem-solving skills to address minor order discrepancies independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience with specific Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software.
