Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting regular safety inspections and audits of the warehouse facility to identify potential hazards.
- Support the development and delivery of safety training programs for new and existing employees.
- Help maintain and update safety documentation, including incident reports, safety data sheets (SDS), and training records.
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Promote a proactive safety culture among warehouse staff through positive engagement and communication.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all provincial (OHSA) and federal safety regulations.
- Aid in the inventory and proper maintenance of safety equipment (e.g., first aid kits, PPE).
- Support emergency preparedness drills and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to implement continuous improvement initiatives for safety.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office Suite)
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Physical ability to navigate a warehouse environment and lift up to 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
