Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a comprehensive training program to learn freight brokerage fundamentals, sales techniques, and operational processes.
- Shadow senior Freight Brokers to understand daily operations, client interactions, and problem-solving strategies.
- Assist in identifying and qualifying potential carriers and shippers, contributing to our growing network.
- Learn to negotiate rates and terms with carriers to secure optimal transportation solutions for clients.
- Communicate effectively with both shippers and carriers to coordinate freight movements, provide updates, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, client communications, and carrier information within our CRM and transportation management systems.
- Support the team in administrative tasks, including data entry, documentation, and reporting.
- Continuously research industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to stay informed and competitive.
- Develop strong interpersonal skills for building lasting relationships with clients and partners.
- Actively seek feedback and opportunities for skill development and professional growth.
Required Skills
