As a Package Handler with Hiring.zycto, you’ll be at the forefront of our operations, playing a crucial role in ensuring packages are moved efficiently and accurately through our system. You’ll be responsible for the safe and timely loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of various packages, from small envelopes to larger boxes. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload packages onto and off conveyor belts, trucks, and other transport vehicles.
- Sort packages manually and with scanning equipment according to destination and established procedures.
- Scan package labels accurately to ensure proper tracking and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and operational protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any issues to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods.
- Basic literacy skills to read and interpret package labels and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
