Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and reliable Shelf Stocker for our Night Shift team in Newtonbrook West, Toronto. Key Responsibilities
- Unload incoming merchandise from delivery trucks efficiently and safely.
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with new products according to planograms and store standards.
- Rotate existing stock to ensure older products are sold first, minimizing waste.
- Verify product counts and report discrepancies or damaged goods to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment safely, if required and certified.
- Assist with inventory counts and contribute to accurate stock management.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks by morning deadlines.
- Ensure aisles and customer areas are clear of obstructions and debris.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in product placement.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic for night shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or stocking role.
- Familiarity with store layouts and merchandising principles.
- Experience with operating pallet jacks or similar equipment (certification an asset).
