Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, bespoke creations, and specialty drinks.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and prompt manner, providing excellent customer service and drink recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and operate POS systems.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service, adhering to Smart Serve guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking, ordering, and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Contribute to the development of new drink menus and specials, leveraging creativity and market trends.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a high-volume or upscale establishment.
- In-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classic cocktail recipes.
- Valid Smart Serve certification (or equivalent provincial certification).
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
