Key Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks related to crop production, including planting, weeding, thinning, and harvesting fruits, vegetables, and other agricultural products.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, such as tractors, tillers, and irrigation systems, under supervision.
- Assist with the preparation of fields, including tilling soil, applying fertilizers, and managing irrigation.
- Monitor crop health, identify pests or diseases, and report findings to supervisors for appropriate action.
- Sort, grade, wash, and package harvested produce according to quality standards and specifications.
- Clean and maintain farm buildings, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Adhere strictly to all farm safety protocols, health regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Support general farm duties as required, including fence repair, minor construction, or animal care if applicable.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and collaborating to achieve daily production targets.
