Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our night shift team in Dorset Park, Toronto. As a Night Shift Janitor, you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of cleaning tasks, working independently and diligently to maintain our high standards of cleanliness during non-operational hours. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and replenishing supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect common areas, offices, and break rooms.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
- Report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or major damages to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards during the night shift hours.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
